Eva Jacqueline Longoria was born March 15, 1975 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She attended schools in the Corpus Christi area and graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology.  She entered a talent contest which landed her in Los Angles, California.

Longoria's first television break came in 2000 with a guest appearance starring in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210. Next she appeared in soaps, General Hospital and The Young and Restless. Her big break came when she was tapped to the role of adulteress Gabrielle Solis in the ABC hit Desperate Housewives. Her role in this hit TV show propelled her to an overnight sensation.

In January 2007 she won the People's Choice Award for the Best TV Actress. The same year she was chosen to be the the first face of Bebe Sport. Longoria was married to Tony Parker, NBA guard in 2007.
